Welcome Letter Format

A letter of welcome is a letter that is usually sent to a new employee in an organization. Its main purpose is to let the new employee know that everyone is glad they are here, and to offer a support system in case they ever need any help. These welcome letters are great for boosting employee morale and letting them know that they are now part of a team.

Sample letter of welcome :

Carol G. Livengood

1980 Center Avenue
Fresno, CA 93711

Dear Carol,

Everyone at Merkel Associates wants to welcome you to our organization. We all think you will be a valuable asset once you get settled in and used to the routine of working here.

We have attached a welcome package along with this letter, which is all the information you will need to get started, a map of our complex, and a daily schedule.

If you have any questions, concerns, or just need someone to talk to, don’t hesitate to call NAME at 342-345-9090. It is his job to make sure all new employees become acclimatized to working at Merkel Associates as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Once again, welcome to the organization and we hope you prosper with your new team!

Regards,

Dave Merkel,
